What Is a Roundup Post?
A roundup post contains multiple links to previous posts all in one article that has a similar theme or topic. You can even use links to other people’s posts. This helps them as much as it does you.
Examples of a roundup
There are a lot of different ways to create a roundup post. Some of these can be
The best posts of 2019. Every day on my way to work I listen to Pandora radio on my phone. They are advertising a new channel. Howard Sterns best 19 of 2019. It’s like a roundup interview channel.·
The top ten best articles you have ever read.·
A collection of short stories you may have written or that you liked of someone else’s work.
Maybe you wrote a series of articles. You can create a roundup post putting the link to all of them in one post.
Why should I create one?
Creating a roundup post helps to breathe new life into older stories. It also helps to share resources with your readers that you may have provided at other times. You can also use it as a recap of the previous month and year.
How do you create one
Gather the posts going into the roundup. Be sure to choose the ones that fit your theme.
Write a paragraph about each one.
Add the link to the articles.
Write an introduction to let people know about what they will find in your post.
Write a conclusion.
What are the different types of roundups?
